Premium: what is included and how billing works

QuizzyApp is free to use and funded by advertising. Premium removes every ad and unlocks the tools that cost real money to run. This page sets out exactly what you get, what it costs, and what happens at the edges — cancelling, lapsing, switching devices.

Prices

Prices are in Nigerian naira and shown on the Premium page in the app; the figures at the time of writing are:

Payment is by card through Paystack, inside the app — you are never sent to another site. Activation is normally immediate. If a bank is slow to confirm, it can take a few minutes; close and reopen the Premium page to refresh, and if it is still not active after fifteen minutes email us with the Paystack reference from your receipt.

One subscription, every device

Premium belongs to your account, not to a device or a platform. Pay on the website and the Android and iOS apps are Premium too; pay in the app and the website is. Sign in with the same account everywhere.

Cancelling

Open the Premium page and choose Manage subscription. That opens your Paystack subscription page, where you cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, and are not charged again. A one-time payment has nothing to cancel; it simply ends after 30 days.

What happens when Premium lapses

Nothing is deleted. Your quizzes, collections, competitions, results, downloads and history all stay in your account. You return to the free limits: ads come back, the AI tools and offline saving switch off, and the quiz-creation cap applies again — your first ten quizzes remain editable and every quiz you made remains playable by everyone. Resubscribe and it all switches back on.

Offline downloads

Premium members can take quizzes offline in the Android and iOS apps:

  1. Open the quiz's page in the app and choose Save for offline study. A paid quiz has to be unlocked first.
  2. Saved quizzes are listed under Downloads in the Hub, and play with no data and no signal — on a train, in a basement, on a plane.
  3. Results from offline attempts are queued and sync when you are back online, with the same score and XP the server would have given.

The website has no offline mode; it needs a connection. If a download reports itself corrupted, remove it and download it again.

One thing worth knowing: every download is also how the quiz's author gets paid. A share of Premium fees is pooled each month and split between authors by how many downloads their quizzes earned — so saving a free quiz offline is not just convenient for you, it is income for the person who wrote it. Details in Earning as a creator.

Purchases that are not Premium

Paid quizzes, paid collections, competition entry fees and paid circle memberships are separate from Premium and go to the creator, less the platform's share. They are listed under Transactions in the Hub. Premium does not include access to paid content, and buying paid content does not require Premium.

Try it in the app. Everything on this page is free to start with. Open QuizzyApp, or browse the published quizzes first. Something not covered here? The support page has the questions we get most.
