Delete your account

1. Open QuizzyApp on Android or iOS.
2. Go to Hub → Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.

The app will sign you out and remove your data immediately. You don't need to do anything else.

1. Sign in at quizzyapp.net.
2. Open Settings → Account → Delete account and follow the prompts.

Send us a request from the email address linked to your account and we'll process the deletion within 7 days:

We may ask you to confirm a few details before processing, to make sure we're deleting the right account.

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your profile, login credentials, and authentication tokens.
• Quizzes, collections, and competitions you created (along with their questions, settings, and cover images).
• Your play history, scores, XP, streaks, and statistics.
• Subscription records and stored payment-instrument metadata.
• Your study-circle memberships, chat messages, and any private circles you owned.
• Notifications, referrals, and saved-content references.

We may retain a minimal set of records after your deletion to meet legal, financial, and fraud-prevention obligations. Where we keep these, we strip your personal identifiers so they can't be traced back to you:

• Transaction history (anonymized) — payment and payout records are kept for tax and accounting purposes for the period required by local law (typically 7 years in Nigeria).
• Aggregate usage metrics— counts and trends that no longer identify you (e.g., “total quizzes played by all users in March”).
• Audit log of the deletion itself — we record that a deletion happened, by whom, and when, so support can investigate disputes after the fact.

We do not sell or transfer this retained data to any third party.

In-app and web deletions take effect immediately. Email-based deletion requests are processed within 7 days. Backups containing your data are rotated out within 30 days of the deletion.

Account deletion cannot be undone. If you change your mind after deleting, you'll need to sign up again — your old content, history, and stats won't come back.

If you just want to take a break, you can sign out instead. Your account will stay intact and you can come back any time.
