GuidesAccount and billing

Your account, settings and notifications

Everything about your account lives in the Hub. This page walks through what is there, what each setting changes, and the handful of rules about sign-in and data that are easier to know before you need them.

Profile

Your username, picture and statistics. The username appears on leaderboards, in circle chats and on any quiz you publish; the statistics — total plays, average score, competition win rate, XP and streaks — are the aggregate of everything you have done. Change the picture from the gallery or camera. Below the numbers is your play history: every finished attempt with its score and date, and anything left partway with a button to resume it.

Privacy

Anonymous on leaderboards hides your username from every ranking — quiz, collection, weekly and monthly — while keeping your position. Other people see an anonymous entry where your name would be. Circle standings, where the whole point is that members know each other, are unaffected.

Notifications

Under Nudges & Reminders:

Some notifications are not optional because they are part of something you joined: a reminder about half an hour before a competition you entered, a battle challenge from a circle-mate, a decision on a collaboration request, a circle league result. They arrive in the in-app inbox and, on a phone, as a push notification; tapping one opens the event, chat or page it is about.

Sound and haptics

Answers, countdowns and results play short sounds and, on a phone, vibrate. Each has its own switch in Settings.

Purchases and subscription

Subscriptions shows your Premium status and plan, and the Manage subscription button that opens Paystack to cancel. Transactions lists your purchases — quizzes, competition entries and the rest — so you can see what you paid and when. Keep the Paystack receipt email for the reference number in case something needs looking into. How billing works, including what happens when Premium lapses, is in Premium: what is included and how billing works.

Downloads and referrals

Downloads (Android and iOS, Premium) lists the quizzes you have saved for offline study; remove one to free space, or remove and re-download one that reports itself corrupted. Referrals holds your personal link and code, the people who have signed up through it, and your progress toward the verified author badge; it is also where you redeem someone else's code, once, if you have one.

Your data

The Privacy Policy sets out what we hold and why. To get a copy of your data, email support@quizzyapp.net from the address on your account; we respond within 30 days.

To delete your account, use Delete account in Settings, or follow the steps on the account deletion page if you cannot sign in. Deletion permanently removes your profile, quizzes, results and downloads. Two kinds of record are kept, as the deletion screen explains: anonymised transaction records that the law requires us to retain, and aggregate metrics that no longer identify you. A timestamp of the deletion is kept so support can confirm it happened.

Getting help

The support page covers the common problems. Anything else, email us with your username, the device and browser you were using, what you did and what you expected — and a screenshot if there is one.

Try it in the app. Everything on this page is free to start with. Open QuizzyApp, or browse the published quizzes first. Something not covered here? The support page has the questions we get most.
